Ethics and Economics — The Context of an Ambivalent Relationship
Abstract
Early mankind was concerned about the relationship between ethics and economics?subject, which has often been a source of political and social tension. In the context of current society in which we talk more about an economic imperialism and its negative consequences, it becomes increasingly difficult to establish a balanced relationship between ethics and economics. Even more it is required an acute necessity to analyze more deeply the degree of interference of these two disciplines in order to establish a common denominator and highlight the specific chances of each. For a balanced report, characterized by cooperation, is essential in a positive development of society.
